Michael,

I'll sure post my experiences with the N4PY software on the list when things
get rolling. Either Thursday or Friday, or perhaps Saturday, my son and I
are going over to Best Buy to pick up everything I ordered. They were
giving Windows 7 if you purchased a macmini, a 70 dollar value, free of
charge but I'll see if that still holds when I go to the store to pick
everything up. Loading that software makes it possible to boot the macmini
either in Yosemite or Windows. Then, those ham programs than don't have a
Mac format can still run on the macmini under windows. I've gotten a couple
of other programs, such as Gold Wave, that don't have a mac version, too.
Anyhow, I've been reading an iBook someone recommended on this list about
using voice over with the macs and I just bought and downloaded a text
version from National Braille Press on everything you want to know about
macs. So that should help. Plus, my wife has been using the Mac Air for a
year so I'll have a lot of start up help from her, haha. It is the least
she can do compared to all those hours I've spent teaching her dos back in
the day. I'm also getting the magic trackTad with the macmini for touch
screen application. I know the macmini has voice command dictation
capabilities but it isn't to the level of dragon dictate, or so I've been
told, so I'm buying that software, too, but I'm waiting till I get the
macmini up and running so I can download the dragon dictate software for
macs.

Phil.
