Ron,

I'll take a copy of your handout. I have a club meeting this Saturday and I
plan on bringing it up for discussion and I also plan on contacting my
representatives.

Subject: Re: ARLB014 Amateur Radio Parity Act of 2015 Introduced in Congress

Colleagues, we really need to get behind the Amateur Radio Parity Act of
2015, House Bill H.R.1301 and encourage our U.S. representatives to co-sign
and support this important legislation. Several of us are currently living
in areas where we are prohibited from putting up antennas in our yards, and
even if you are not living in such an area today, you might be sometime in
the future. Regardless, we need to support each other and help those of us
who are living in such areas.

This legislation permits licensed radio amateurs to erect reasonable
antennas in areas where such antennas are, otherwise, prohibited such as in
sub-divisions where such antennas are prohibited by the sub-division's
covenants. . The ARRL has an H.R. 1301 resources page on its website at,

http://www.arrl.org/hr-1301

Those of you who are members of ham clubs, please encourage your club and
all of its members to take an active role in supporting this legislation,
H.R.1301. I am a member of two clubs. I'm going to bring this important
matter up in the next meetings for both clubs. I plan to go prepared by
creating a handout on H.R.1301 that will briefly summarize it, but in
addition to the summary of the merits of H.R.1301, I will also include the
contact information for the representatives they need to contact and what to
say, and encourage our club president to express support on behalf of the
club and in like manner, encourage each of our members to do so as
individual hams. Anyone who wants a copy of my handout, let me know, and
I'll send it to you, excluding the names of your representatives. You can
add that very easily yourself.

Ron, K8HSY
