If you haven't done so already, you should tell people on the listserv what
you have learned so far. If it is as good as you say it is, I should
purchase my own copy from ARRL rather than getting a freebie. If we can use
this work, we should be willing to pay for it rather than sharing it without
permission from ARRL.

Subject: For Loyd - Want to Contribute "ARRL 2015 Handbook" to Your Dropbox
for the List

Hi Loyd!

I want to contribute to your dropbox for the list the "ARRL 2015 Handbook."
I have compressed the entire CD, which contains the Handbook, certain
software and supplemental materials. It is a large file even in its
compressed state - 568 MB. That said, with anything other than a dial-up
connection it only takes a matter of minutes to upload/download. If you
give me your direct email address, I will send you this compressed file. If
I cannot email it to you, I can snail-mail it to you on a USB flash drive.

Note that this works differently than the "ARRL Antenna Handbook." Whereas
the Antenna Handbook contained separate PDF files for it (e.g., separate
files for a chapter), this Handbook installs like it were an application. I
have tested the Handbook component itself for accessibility, and it is fully
accessible in PDF format with JAWS (and other screen readers no doubt). In
fact, it is exceptionally accessible in that the PDF is structured with a
tree-view contents, searchable, notatable and so on. I have not tested the
programs that come with this compressed file (i.e., with the CD).

Let me know if I can send you the compressed file. If so, I will include
the very simple extraction and installation instructions.
