Buddy, I thought that Gap antenna's don't require a counterpoise
system because they have a built-in one. Still trying to figure
this out. Jim WA6EKS

I've got one of those, too. Mine has a high SWR on 15 and 12
meters. =
Need to find someone with an analyzer to help me adjust it I
guess. The =
only problem is that occasionally, the counterpoise wire falls
down.=20

I have a Gap titan antenna and it is great on forty through six
=
meters.
Mine has a problem on 80 but that is because of a part that
needs to =
be
 replaced.

The Gap Titan antenna does not require ground radials, so they
say. =
Gap
makes a number of antennas including one that covers
160 meters, but it's 45 feet tall and has a capacitance hat on
it. =
The
Titan is a 25 foot antenna that covers 10 through 80 meters and
costs =
$429 I
think. Would be interested in feedback about Gap antennas if
anyone =
has
 information on them. Jim WA6EKS
