Strange as it might seem, , I worked a guy at the Japanese embassy in Iran 
during the year over 300 Americans were being held hostage.  I got his card 
and I believe their call was EP2TY and I worked him on 20 side band and he 
was 30 over S9.  I thought he was a bootlegger due to the circumstances 
until a card came direct to my home address.  Additionally, oddly enough, 
are the Afghanistan and Iraq cards I received to from 20 meters CW and side 
band from earlier days.
