This has already pretty much been said, but I always configure my
browsers to open up new pages in their own tabs whenever possible. I'll
also use control+enter to force this as well. When I'm done with a site,
I just hit control+w and I'll always be taken back to where I left off
in my previous sites. I haven't noticed the problem with clicking on a
link taking me to the wrong web site, but I haven't used Internet
Explorer in years.
