Don,

The VGS1 is easy to install.  It takes longer to take out all of the 
screws and put them back than it takes to install the board. Just remove 
the bottom cover and look for a square metal shield that's held in by 
three or four screws, remove the shield and the socket that the VGS1 
plugs in is right where the shield was.
