Looks like the base that came along with my free mic many years ago is
discontinued. it was a heavy metal base plate with a 6 inch riser.
on top of that went a large plastic spring loaded clip that grabbed the
mic like a giant clothes pin.
I wouldn't want to hold this mic in my hand all day. you'll look like
one of the Supremes.
I got an e-mail from cheapham today. If you are interested in a boom,
they have what seems to be a nice one for $50, but you would need to
find a clip to screw on to the boom and clamp the mic. Maybe they
have that as well.
