Just set the computer's sound card as default. Most programs now allow you
to choose which sound card is the default. You don't want the radio's sound
card to be the default ever no matter what, I hear it all the time where
people use their radio's sound card or their sound card digital interface as
default sound card and their windows sounds keep going out on the air. If
you set the computer's sound card as the default, that should fix your
problem with the wav files and you should be able to select which sound card
any program that needs the card uses.
