you will find that now that you've done it once, narater should come up with
the ease of access center each time.
that said, any time I've had a new laptop I simply wait for windows to
start, or even at the log in screen, I hit windows key U and narater will
start speaking after a minute or two
Windows key U is specifically the narater start key, but it takes a minute
or 3 for narater to start speaking.
