Alan,

Glad to hear that about the 990.  I'm not surprised about your friend using the 990 more than the Flex; it takes a lot of work and experimentation to get those radios going, and unless you really like that kind of playing around, it's just easier to grab something like the 990 and start having fun.  I hope you'll give us a detailed report when you get the 990.  I'll try not to drool too much.
