I run an application on my PC called Go Contact Sync. This keeps my Outlook
contacts and Google contacts in sync. If you're running an application like
this then the instruction Gaston gives below will also update your Gmail
contacts.
You can also go to https://contacts.google.com/ to add to or update your
Gmail contacts.
Another thing you can do is point your smart phone to your Google account
and then you can use the contacts app on your smart phone to update your
Gmail contacts.
