It sounds like you have a computer that was set up with a work Windows
account.I reset the computer to factory settings. You're no longer at
work, but you keep being prompted for a password change.
One idea that comes to mind is to do a factory reset of the computer.
You'll have to reinstall your programs, but any trace of work stuff
should be gone.
Other less drastics steps could be to check the roaming folder for work
related folders or to go into your Windows account to try to delete an
old account.
Just an FYI, I have a laptop that often tells me there's a problem with
my account and suggests (pretty forcefully) that I should go to the
Microsoft account page to change my password. Since my other devices
don't think there's a problem, I hit escape on the suggestion and
keeping doing what I'm doing. It's annoying, though.

I was surprised when it did this yesterday. I’ve got Windows-10 and was wondering if there is anything I can do to stop this prompt from happening?
