hi all harry was kind enough to help me with something. I want to make
a differance in my development. in my development there are 28
buildings with 8 appartments in each. of them. the buildings are
supose to be handy capted accessable. I was wondering if there was a
way I can get a hold of the ada in my state to fix this problem? Harry
sent me an email with the link the statets fire marshamal but I can't
email him because it bounces back to me. I feel that my and every
downstairs appartment is a fire trap. there are a number of people with
one kind of disbility or another. when there is a fire in the building
I am not able to climb over the rail on the deck because it is chest
high and because of my disibility I feel like that my appartment is a
fire trap. Iss whitch is funding my appartment said that I am fine and
I can get out. now how do I fix this problem? I will give you an
exampel the parking spot that has a sign on it is accross the parking
lot. You can hardly get a wheel chare in the appartments and if someone
has a van with a lift they can't get it down. there are no elivaters in
the buildings and I feel that the buildings are under code. now what?
can someone please help me asap? thanks my number is 5184158325 becky h

Hi Becky,
The web page for all the state fire marshals is
http://www.ehso.com/firemarshalstate.php
When you get on the web page, do a find (I hope it is the same command
in system access as it is in Jaws, it is control f
then, type
new york
and hit enter, and it should take you right to the spot on the web page
that says new york, and you can down arrow and you'll hear the name
James Burns, and below that is his phone number, and there is also an
email address.
