Current Solar Indicies from WWV

17-Nov-2014 at 1505 UTC

SFI = 172

A = 22

K = 3

This SFI is fairly high, relative to what it has been lately, which means
the DX should also be pretty good. The A index number is higher than we
would prefer, indicating the bands could be a little noisy at times, but the
K index number of only 3 is excellent.

I worked several countries on CW yesterday on 12 and 15 meters, and five
countries last night on 40 meters CW, including Russia, Bulgaria, Italy,
Poland, and Mexico.

Happy DX_ing!!

Ron, K8HSY
