Hi,

I like the Wouxun radios as they seem to be more immune to interference 
and have a channel knob on the top and announce what channel your on 
when you turn the ht on.  The new UV8D also has true dual receive and is 
capable of crossband repeat.  Also the new UV8D no longer sucks down the 
battery even though it is turned off.
