Despite the NY QP and JOTA going on today, I managed to get on 7.191
before 2000 UTC. I alternated between calls for the NY QP and Blind
Hams Roundtable. A kind stranger relayed that Lowell W8QIY was trying
to call me, but I couldn't hear him. Stuck around for a while before
moving on.

I've had an s-8 noise level here all day and stations I should hear
quite loud from NY are way down .
