Hi everyone;
I've been rather surprised that some don't feel the 590 is significantly 
better than the ts480.  For 1200 I could have talked myself into one 
while the price lasts and hope that my antenna issues resolve 
themselves.  I do own a 480 and although its a nice radio I find things 
a bit crowded.  Its trivial but the buttons are a bit small.  Also I 
would have expected the dsp on the 590 to be significantly better.  Does 
the 590 use the scheme as the 480 in that the same button can do a 
number of things depending upon how long you press it?  Still holding 
out for that nice acre of land.
