reply #2:
what does Facebook have to do with QRZ.com? we were talking about the usability of his site, not Facebook. the 2 have very little to do with each other. QRZ.com uses Vbulletun ,which is a forumsnd basic web page hosting platform. I am not sure what Facebook uses, but it certainly isn't Vbulletun.

there are some specific areas of the site that need to be recoded to work more appropriately:
1. the front screen tabs (they look like file folder tabs). these are supposed to be usable by anyone with a mouse, but don't work properly with a screen reader (voiceover most specifically). they appear to be labels and are not intractable. so, I can't access any of the other posted info on a lookup other than the basic info (name, address, email (on mouseover)).
2. the ads on the front page need to be in their own frames
3. in the forums, some of the edit boxes are hard to get to ( not sure if this is a safari problem or not).
4.navigating by web rotor to specific headings in the forums causes the screen reader to lockup. it is interesting that this only seems to occur on older version Vbulletun sites.

anyway, thats enough of the big detail stuff for now.
