the front page tabs are not intractable controls like they should be. At =
least, not on OS X Lion using Safari web browser or chrome. Those should =
behave like controls and they don't .

just curious, what browser/OS combination are you using? That might have =
some bearing on this. SOme sites specifically code for one browser, and =
that can cause no end of problems for screen reader users not using that =
specific setup.
