Do any of you know where I can purchase a ready-made cable for connecting
the TS-590 to the ALS-600 amp? It takes a 7-pin round din connector to plug
into the back of the TS-590 with RCA type phone jacks on the other end to
plug into the ALS-600. I have the materials, but frankly, I don't like
soldering up 7-pin round din connectors myself, and I don't have any faith
in any of the local hams to do it either. After all, 3 of the 4 PL259 coax
connectors they soldered up for me when they were helping me get up my
antennas turned out to be shorted, and soldering a 7-pin dim connector is
more difficult than a PL259. So, their track record leaves much to be
desired. I would love to find a source from which I can simply purchase an
off-the-shelf, ready-made cable that I can just plug in and go.
