Something actually started happening August 4.  Microsoft ended support for 
the developer version of the Skype SDK that GWMicro used to develop Skype 
Connect.  GwMicro sent out a warning that this would likely break their app 
the end of July, and offered pro rata refunds for anybody who purchased it.
