firstly the uv5r squelch is digital...essentially, there is no sensativity
difference between the step where the squelch is closed, and the 9 setting.
I think the squelch closes on setting 2 or 3.
So the squelch is either, open, or closed. Max sensativity is with squelch
open, and when it's closed the sensativity is the same all the way through
the settings.
