Can someone tell us how the new SG model differs from the original 590? I
am considering buying one for 6 meter use in replacement of my 480SAT.

Thanks. 73
Alan

Subject: Kenwood TS590 firmware update

Hi,

I just updated the firmware on my TS590S to version 2.0. The upgrade
went without a hitch and the new update adds several new features from
the SG series to the older S model that I own.

I think I saw a question about how far down in frequency the 590 will
tune. It will tune down to 30 KHZ.
