I agree that most people have come up with some of their own ways of writing
Braille, and if it works for them so be it.  But changing literary Braille
just to please the Braille elitists and translation software developers is
quite another matter.

i bet most of us write some bastardized form of Braille daily, or as 
often as we use Braille.  I've a self develooped shorthand that my 
wife can't easily read, and vice versa!!  If you write Braille 
profesionally it's important I'm sure but I'm gona do what I do and 
am happy with it!
