Well, at least this hopefully is an indication of improving 40-meter band
conditions with the onset of Fall.

Sure hope that's true for the Pennsylvania QSO Party in two weeks!

I'm sure someone would have heard you.  George was light but no problem to
copy and he was running an antenna only 15 or so feet up.
