Actually, Steve, if I ever were to use the TS590 out here in the RV, where
temps do fluctuate more than in a regular house, this might be something
worth thinking about.

If the rig seems stable enough to you, don't spend the money. On the =
other hand, file the option for later use if you ever become aware of =
drift. Another reason for wanting a TCXO is if you operate in a wide =
range of temperatures, in which case the drift might be more noticeable.
