Hey Rob, I just got my Extra License back after accidentally letting it 
expire, taking advantage of the new regs which went into effect on July 
21st.  After retaking my tech exam, I got my new call sign from the online 
database on August 7th, and my license was issued on August 8th.  I took my 
test on August 3rd.  Needless to say, I am delighted to get my extra 
privileges back!

A quick note of introduction:  My name is Jackie Shepherd and my old Extra 
Class call sign was wx7a.  I sure hated to lose that call!

Lastly, as I received short notice of the testing, and the Handiham site was 
closed when I sought help Thursday night, I would like to give thanks to 
Fred, Mike, and Junior for their help so that I could get the material and 
pass the test the following Sunday.
