Hi Baba,
Thirst quenching I say! There is a lovely moment in every line Baba and I love the thoughtful incorportion of nature throughout the entire poem.
Do you ever read your material in front of an audience? (If I have asked you this before, please forgive the oversight).
Happy Valentine's day to you and 99.9% of the list.
Chris

Spirit Love
By Baba Galleh Jallow
Like a river she flows
In the valley of his soul
Like a rainbow he smiles
on the crest of her dreams
Like a wave she plays
on the sea of his chest
Like the breeze he whispers
in the silence of her life
Like a moon she shines
in the space of his heart
Like a star he twinkles
in the heaven of her thoughts
Like air she conditions
the universe of his being
Like a spirit their love
Defies time, defies space
