May is for Moms and backyard barbecues. Fire up the grill and enjoy your first cookout of summer with homemade Artisan Buns; Hamburger or Hot Dog. Make Mother’s Day Brunch special with decadently simple coffee cakes and muffins. Celebrate Cinco de Mayo with this month’s free recipe, Guacamole.

At Yummee Yummee, we believe in making life great. Our baking mixes and recipes are designed to give everyone, gluten-free or not, their best life. It can be difficult to get Celiac children and teenagers to stay on their diet, or to not moan about what they can’t have. Growing up in the Yummee Yummee family, there was a no whining policy. Don’t complain; other people had special diets in the family; Grandma couldn’t eat dairy and Mom couldn’t eat pepper.

This Celiac Disease Awareness Month, choose to celebrate your Celiac Anniversary rather than focusing on the negative. How many weeks, months, years, or decades have you been gluten-free? Celebrate the health you have and the life you are free to live. Where have you gone? What have you done? And, remember; no whining, unless it’s wine with dinner or a cheese and fruit plate.
