I had to take Sandy off echurch for a few days because her mail would not
come through. It was on the mail server at comcast but something would not
allow mail in. She could send out but not receive. Carol and I took turns
trying to figure it out. This happened once before and a friend came over
and figured it out but it had something to do with upgrading outlook express
files. I had a similar problem a few months ago and it turned out to be
Norton. I turned email scanning off and my mail all came flowing back in.
This time, I eventually figured out how to do it with Sandy's version of
Norton today and suddenly she had mail. Then I turned mail scan back on,
ran a total disk scan, found nothing, and everything is back to normal. Her
Norton is a 2003 version and looks a little different than my 2002 version.
Yes, both programs update automatically but the menus read a little
differently between the two programs even though they updates are all the
same virus tables. Weird, I know, but if I could buy out the company and re
write the program, I would. So, Sandy is back.

Phil.
