Hi Carol,
I had another treatment this week. I am off of taxotere chemo and on
a hormone treatment called hirceptin. Then, I also have an oral one I take
each day. I still go every three weeks and hirceptin takes 90 minutes to
inject.
I feel well, and hope the numbness in my fingers will soon disappear now
that I'm off the taxotere. I got really sore eyes with it and they are
already clearing, most thankfully! Those treatments have to be strong, but
after awhile when the side effects kick in, it's nice to move onto something
different.
I have a busy schedule from now till after Christmas with music and
speaking. I am delighted to be doing this for the Lord, and have still so
much to be thankful for!
Feel free to send this to echurch, along with my love.
Love,
Gail.
P.S. I'm so glad your trip to Phil and Sandy's was so enjoyible. Mom and
I went on an overnight trip to Niagara Falls and it was nice. We saw two
shows: Charlie Pride and Daniel O'Donnell, while we were there. it was a
bus tour, and nice for Mom and I to get away together for pleasure, instead
of always going to chemo.
the joy of the Lord is my strength.
