Good thinking on the 480 possibility, Steve.  And, yes, I still do have the
amp interface cable for that rig.

I also have a TS570 here that I bought in the same estate sale where I
picked up the Tentec Scout which I'm going to be selling.  The 570 will not
be on my list of items to sell, though, since it gives me yet another backup
possibility if the 480 or 590 should go south.

Tom,

Another reason to keep what you have is if the 590 goes south, you could
pull the 480 out of the RV and still be good.  I assume you still have the
cable  from the buffer to the 480.

Also if you threw it in with the amp, it really just becomes a freeby.
