EXACTLY!!!  thank you.  apparently there are only a couple of u who understand.  I also noticed that those successful people who are saying oh you can do this and that if you put for the effort are all retirement age or close to it. opportunities that existed in the 60s and 70s dried up in the 80s and 90s and are nonexistent today.
