Hi Phil.
You would want to click tools then preferences.
Then control tab to connection and tab until you get to ptt and hit enter.
There is options there to set that stuff up.
If i remember correctly though, the default is the space bar hold it 
down to transmit and let it up to stop.
But you can set it for the control key and some other ones too i think.
