good luck. I can’t say enough good about how easy it is to use my tmv1a ken wood. it is very intuitive. i only hav done complaint, and that is when they put in remote control the left no way to make the radio read it’s frequency, which is unpardonable for a radio designed to be controlled from a handheld as a remote base. I also found the automatic id to be useless as it randomly id’s on whichever band it feels like regardless of weather the radio is in use. I had the voice idea set up and it kept spamming my local repeater with a clip of my call sign before I realized what was happening by other reports back to me and disabled the id altogether. it would be fine if it only sent the auto id out on the control side which is where ei should be, since when you use the radio to talk you are already identifying your output going to the repeater. Is his possibly corrected in the later firmare, and how do I find out which firmware I have?
