Hi Everybody,
Thank you for praying. The meeting went well. We didn’t have any problems
this morning getting there, praise the Lord. The meeting itself went well
too. I had thought that Eric would meet with chris alone, but he
includedGreg and myself, right from the beginning. Chris likes Eric much
better as wel.
Next week, chris is going to have some more testing done for attention
deficit activity. I think that Eric is hoping that this may give him some
more insight into Chris’s impulsivity. Who knows. Of course, we all know
that Chris is being cooperative to ern back the goodies. The truth will
come out after three sessions when chris has a choice about whether to go
back.
I think that chris was a bit taken aback today when he learned, for the
first time about the findings of the neuro-psychology report. He had to
face the fact that he really does have problems and it isn’t just we, his
parents, making a big deal out of normal teenage behavior. He was pretty
thoughtful, in the car, as we took him to school after his appointment.
His next appointment is next Wednesday at 8:00 am. Thank you for bathing
this situation with prayer. I truly believe that it made all the
difference. What a blessing to know that you guys were praying for my
family while we were at our appointment this morning. It is truly what
Christ intended for His bride to be.
In Him,
Kathy
