Michael,

The HamPod's software is custom designed to function with various pieces of
equipment.

First the equipment must have an RS232 port for communication with external
devices such as the HamPod.

The device with the RS232 port must contain firmware that allows it to be
controlled via the RS232 port. Some devices only send out data on this port
and do not allow for much or any control of the device.

Current devices supported are as follows:

Elecraft K3 and KX3
Elecraft W2 Power meter
Array Solutions PM2 Power meter
Green Heron Universal Rotor Controller
and the SteppIR antenna controllers.

You can't just plug the HamPod in to a device and expect it to communicate
with it.

These are the facts as I understand them.

Howard #3
