it's certainly an issue. If it suddenly does not behave as expected, it's a downright frustrating experience.

One of the "perks" of life connected to an assistive technology center is that I also just got to crash test this same problem.

It's not a bug, it's a feature?

This search string turned up lots of links with Google; I won't have time to test until tomorrow.

Subject: [VICUG-L] FireFox problem/question

Hi All:

I have used FireFox for some time along with Internet Explorer and found it to work reasonably well.

However, I found that I can no longer access the FireFox menus -- I am using Jaws 14). Nothing happens when I press the ALT key, or the ALT key and the appropriate letter for the menu , e.g. File, Edit, View etc.

If I try routing Jaws to the PC cursor I don't get anything either, and if I navigate in this mode over the FireFox browser window to access the web page content, I don't get anything there either.

I've installed and uninstalled the program a couple times and got no change.

Does anyone have a solution? or even some idea of where to start?

Thanks for any help.

Stan
