Years ago the gear in Finland was "made" by Toko (not sure about the
spelling), but this was Yaesu equipment rebadged for their market.
As already said, nowadays the gear is the same world wide apart from the
firmware which is indicated by the last letter, in the case of Kenwood gear,
such as the TMG71A over in your area, is the TMG71E over here. Although
this piece of kit has receive on 220, it has transmit inhibited.

Subject: Accessible or interesting ham radio gear produced in Finland, any
ideas?
Group,
I have a family friend traveling to Finland in the coming weeks and I
am curious to find out if anyone knows or has heard of blind friendly
ham radio gear built there. In my initial cursory web searches I
haven't found anything, so figured it was worth a shot asking the
group. Mainly I am interested in HTs and base/moble antennas.
73s,
Patrick
