Ok Junior. I think you have heard mine on all 3 radios at different
times over the years. Hope this does away with the RFI problem you
were having with the Kenwood mic.
The mic seems to have a lot of bass to it. I have kind of a deeper voice,
and if I don't set the radio's EQ to a high boost, it sounds like I'm in the
basement. Way too low. You have a couple of EQ options on
the 2000 if you need to tweak things. I think you will like the mic.
The 1/4 pigtail on the GL mic cable is an easy way to add a foot switch or
other ptt to the radio.
