Get what you can when you can make the money!
The question, however, is what are you attempting to achieve?
However big the station and antennas, particularly on 6M, is finding the
openings rather than the power.
I can put you in touch with a W3 who has over 300 DXCC countries on only 100
watts!

Subject: SPE 2KFA amp
Hello all,
I wonder if anyone on the list has ever tried the SPE 2KFA solid state amp,
and if so, what was the experience like? A friend bought two of them so he
could have a spare, and has decided to sell one because he never suffered a
failure requiring use of the second unit.
One of the features that I particularly like about the amp is that it covers
six meters. I currently have a Commander six meter amp, which I could sell,
to makeup for the relatively high price of the 2KFA.
Any comments would be greatly appreciated.
