I plan to be on some in the NAQP CW today, probably using N1MM Plus beta for
logging. The unhandled exception I found was fixed in yesterday's build.
There is another build today.
Band conditions will be interesting, with a K index of 3 or 4 today,
probably getting lower tomorrow. Apparently there was a big solar flare at
1900Z yesterday that caused the black-out Phil was talking about.
I Probably won't be on as much for the Maryland-DC QSO Party next weekend;
we'll see.
Next weekend is the WAE (Worked All Europe, German-sponsored) CW contest. If
I could point my beam northeast I would be doing some of that. Stations ask
for a QTC and I just tell them that I have nil; that's where having my
logging program key the transmitter or using a braille display in the QTC
window would be helpful.

Subject: 40 meter roundtables
Not sure I will be around for the 40 meter thing the next few weeks.
I've got some contesting to get out of my system. Today is NAQP CW,
next week is Maryland QP, the following week is NAQP SSB, and after that
is Ohio QP.
Always possible that band conditions, contest activity level, and my own
laziness may change things for me. Also likely that the NAQP SSB will
fill the band, less likely that the Ohio QP will do so, but again
depends on bands and activity level.
Hope to see some of you on 40 in a few weeks. If you hear me in one
of the contests, stop and say hello, even if you're not playing.
