lol, nicely played Mark.
God allows bad things to happen, because in it's simplest explanation, and 
acording to what many consider to be his written word on the subject, he put 
us in charge of ourselves and basically, to use a terribly over used 
clechae, gave us enough rope to hang ourselves.  If nothing else, he's stuck 
to his written promise to allow us to try and make our own path and we need 
only turn on the news each night to see the result of that.
However, that involves one's whole sale belief in that written word and that 
too, is something that has been debated, and killed over for the last 
thousand years or so.
