Mark, that is an excellent question, unfortunately I have no idea. I bet
that someone else on this reflector will know the answer to your inquiry
though. I am not much of a joiner, so I have never looked into joining
QCWA. I am also not a member of the ARRL.

Hi Alan,

How does one go about joining QCWA? I am impressed with how long you have
been a ham.

God bless,
Mark WZ0K

Congrats Mark on your 25th license anniversary. Wait until you are an old
fart like me who got his ticket way back in 1962.

Congratulations, Mark, on being a ham for 25 years. I only hope that, during

my second tour of duty as a ham, since 1997, I make it to 25 years. Good
going! 73. Doug, N6NFF Sacramento, Ca

Subject: 25 Years As A Ham

Hi

Its hard to believe that 25 years ago today I received my first ham license
in the mail. My call was KB0EWW, and I made my first ham contact on my
Kenwood HT to N0ETR Randy through the local repeater. Smile. Well allot has
changed since 1989. However, I still enjoy visiting with the hams as I can.
I was working to get on HF for today, but that just did not happen. So, like
that day so many years ago, I will be trying to make contacts on my Kenwood
hand held. Smile. I only wish my late sister AA0CU were here today. We were
looking forward to making it to the QCWA level.

Thank you for letting me reminisce.

God bless,
Mark WZ0K
