ACLog is not a general rig control program like HRD. However, there are some
rig control capabilities. I control my Elecraft KX3 using ACLog,
particularly when using the built-in DX Cluster lists. When I arrow to a
station I want to try to work, hitting enter causes the KX3 to jump to that
band, frequency, and mode. It's quite nice. It's essentially the reverse of
the way ACLog reads band, mode, and frequency and automatically enters it in
your log for each contact.
ACLog is also capable of sending CDW or audio recordings but I haven't used
those features because 1) The KX3 can do that itself, and 2) it requires
splitting the USB port between CW and logging.
Note, I'm using Jaws, not NVDA but I see no reason why it wouldn't work with
other screen readers.

I have not connected my radio to the computer yet. It is on my to do list,
though.
Others here have done so, and may be able to answer you about that.
