Great job, Lloyd.
Again, if anyone has the chance to operate in the W1AW Centennial event as
a state representative, go for it, even if you can only oprate for a few
hours!
It's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

In my 9 hours, 10 minutes of operation I ended up with 589 QSOs. 15 meters
was a challenge today because there was considerable line noise in some
directions, and the band didn't always seem to be open. I met my objective
of handing out QSOs to some Europeans this afternoon, though; the band was
open as late as 2300Z. Worked three stations in Athens, Greece, and suspect
two of them were a husband and wife. A West Coast station said I had a
pileup of Japanese stations calling me, but I could only hear a few. The
only blind ham I worked was Ed, K7UC, on 15 CW yesterday.
Overall, this was a lot of fun, especially Friday night.
