Sorry if some have "heard" to much about this already but I didn't keep 
the description of the hearing aids that someone posted previously that 
apparently worked well.  A friend really needs hearing help and it 
sounds like he looked at something similar and the manual stated that 
they shouldn't be used if you have a pace maker or in his case a brain 
shunt.  Wonder if the ones previously discussed come with similar 
warnings?  This guy who is a ham by the way, has the conventional 
variety which he generally refuses to ware because they make the world 
sound terrible.  He was visiting for an hour or two and he really needs 
them.  My voice is tired.
