I thought that this might be an appropriate time to introduce the DX code of

I haven’t gone to these links yet but I will.
The one thing that really bugs me is when a DX station does not sign their call for hours. Or when they do, and they are weak and I miss the call, I gotta wait another hour to try to catch it.
I don’t have packet so can’t get on the packet cluster so sometimes I have no idea who the DX pile up is for.

There are two aspects, the DX chaser and the DX station - or in our case at
the moment, the W1AW station.
Here is a link to the appropriate one:

http://www.dx-code.org/DXpednew.html

it has been drawn up by a bunch of very eminent DX operators and was
strictly adhered to by the recent TX6G and A35 operations - no doubt others.
