I prayed for both of you.  Did you point out to him how much it helps you be more independent?  I bought the Pizmo scanning and reading app, as well as a stand to aline the pone perfectly with the document so it can take a picture and read it.  I can now read books!  Once you get your iPhone, the Prizmo app cost only $9 something instead of a flat scanner and ocr software. You can buy a braille app for just around $20 instead of expensive equipment.  That's my example; yours could be different.

I hope your situation gets better soon.  Perhaps your husband is going through stress of some kind?
